Researching Ugg leather boots , I found the online reviews to be most helpful. Customers addressed my concerns which let me to believe I would really like the Channing II Tall Boots. Last winter I purchased a pair in chocolate. They are the most comfortable boots I own. I receive many compliments on them. Many people are surprised when I say they are "Ugg Boots." This year I purchased a pair in black. I love them just as much as I do the chocolate pair. I am petite and have trouble with boots being too tall. These are just the right height. One review mentioned having trouble tucking pants in the boots with the short zipper. I tuck my pants into a pair of socks and have no trouble getting my boots on. I have worn my boots in really cold weather. My feet and legs stay warm. I have worn them in fairly deep snow and have not had trouble with water staining the leather. I will certainly think about getting another pair in another color next winter.

    Very comfortable with good traction although not a lot of padding. There is a nice real lambswool lining on the sole inside the boot but it is not bulky. Smooth exterior has a moderate sheen but not shiny. Skinny jeans fit inside fine with a little extra room so the top is not baggy. There is a half zipper on the lower inside seam of each boot to aid in getting the boot on. Mine is a bit snug but wiggling got my foot in fine and I suspect that will soften up a little more. The size 8 fit me true to size as I almost always wear an 8 and plan to wear the boots with very thin or no socks. I had noticed these boots on another woman on an airplane and was admiring them on her when a third person commented to her on how great her boots looked!

    These boots arrived extremely fast to me in Korea! They look identical to the photo. They are not warm winter boots at all. These are fashion boots and fit true to size. I'm a 7.5 in all shoes and this one fits perfect.

    Love them but the calf is tight. They should put a little slit for adjustment. Maybe a buckle on the top back. But the leather is wonderful.

boots review on FRYE Shirley Over The Knee Riding Leather I loved and wanted this boot regardless of the fact that i knew my calf size was larger then what the boot circumfrance stated. My calf is a 16 3.4.. but i knew that in a couple of days it would give and it did. When i first tried them on they wouldnt go pass my calf then after wearing them in the house they gave but then i realized i should have tried them with socks. I put the socks on and then in two days they stretched and fit my calf nicely. i always order a half size up, which was plenty of room to wear with socks and be comfy. I love this boot and thats why i took 4 days to decide if it was worth all the stretching and it was. Dont plan on buy another black boot for some years. One change I would make to these boots if I were the designer: I'd make them knee length. They are a little short for the style. I normally wear a 9.5WW. Even though these were only a W, I had plenty of room in the footbed. I've ordered about eight pairs of boots trying to find one to fit and wished I could have kept these, even as an extra pair, since they aren't going to go with everything. My beef with these boots is that even though the calf opening says 16 inches, I could barely zip them up on my 16" calves (where I could on other boots of the same width).
