FRYE Womens Campus Lug Chocolate

I had been looking at these boots forever. I did not need them. I have boots in every shape, color and heel height, but I could not stop thinking about these. I finally showed them to my husband, who usually discourages more boot purchases, and he loved them. I could not decide on a color; I love them all! He liked the Walnut, so that is what I ordered. On my screen, the color looked kind of reddish, but in person they are a rich, beautiful brown. They have a wonderful patina and I love the darker swirls in the leather. I usually wear an 8.5 or 9 and I ordered a 9. They fit perfectly with my wool dress socks which are of a medium thickness. I have 14 inch calves and the fit there is perfect as well. They are made in America, which I love. They seem like they will be very durable. I have not worn them out of the house because it has been so hot outside, but I have worn them around inside just to get a sense of the blister factor. I seem to have very sensitive feet and always end up with blisters. These feel great. The boots also have surprisingly great arch support. I have plantar fasciitis and always have some measure of heel pain, especially in a flatter heeled shoe. These make my feet very happy. I might have to have a second pair! Hmm...

    These boots are great quality! They run a bit large, but it's not enough of a problem to return them. I have very skinny calves (12"), and these boots fit them fairly well - they are a little "baggy" at the ankle and at the top, which can be fixed by winding the laces (which are very long) around at the top. They are very comfy and I would recommend them!

    I bought yellow (banana) ones. I was hesitating at first because it is such a bright color. But when I got the boots they looked not as bright in person. They looked like a mix between yellow and natural color. I love fryes. They start a little tight but I hope they will break in soon. I would say they are a little bit longer in a foot area (and flatter) then I expected. They look absolutely great with pants or skirt, very stylish. I am very pleased. I usually wear a higher heel, but got these for every day chasing my kids around. They look perfect with mustard ADA leather belt that I have. The boots are made so well - you feel like you are wearing a masterpiece. Frye is amazing in general, I trust them to deliver quality and style.

    Great job FRYE!! Made in USA which is nice. The leather is so amazingly soft and maliable - Im sure the break-in period will be slight if at all. Expensive yes, but quality isnt cheap. I expect these boots to last me practically forever. You may want to order these boots a size down however, I did order the first pair in my usual size 7 to find that they ran VERY large. I returned them and got 6.5 and they are a great fit. Amazon shipped both pair asap.

    I was hesitant to buy these...so expensive! I am so glad I did...I love them! They fit a little strange at first, but quickly felt super comfy.

    Just as promised not a Chinese knock-off My 5th pair of Frye boots- the 1st ones I didnt get from Frye directly since they where out of stock of my size/color. I actually got a discount this time. I was impressed when they arrived.

    I absolutely love these boots!! Exactly what I was wanting and they fit wonderfully! Have troubled feet due to a bad foot surgery...these have a comfortable foot bed and do not pain my feet at all!! The look great with jeans or a skirt!! My new favorite boots!! Highly recommend!!

    Couldn't believe the sale price. These boots are really super cool! I've been looking at these pups for awhile, so when they went on sale wow! Anyway super nice soft leather. I got the banana ones and the marbling on the leather is really fantastic.. The fit is true for frye , a little long in the length and slightly on the narrow side of medium. They are super well fitting for us gals that have the long narrowish feet.

boots review on FRYE Shirley Over The Knee Riding Leather I loved and wanted this boot regardless of the fact that i knew my calf size was larger then what the boot circumfrance stated. My calf is a 16 3.4.. but i knew that in a couple of days it would give and it did. When i first tried them on they wouldnt go pass my calf then after wearing them in the house they gave but then i realized i should have tried them with socks. I put the socks on and then in two days they stretched and fit my calf nicely. i always order a half size up, which was plenty of room to wear with socks and be comfy. I love this boot and thats why i took 4 days to decide if it was worth all the stretching and it was. Dont plan on buy another black boot for some years. One change I would make to these boots if I were the designer: I'd make them knee length. They are a little short for the style. I normally wear a 9.5WW. Even though these were only a W, I had plenty of room in the footbed. I've ordered about eight pairs of boots trying to find one to fit and wished I could have kept these, even as an extra pair, since they aren't going to go with everything. My beef with these boots is that even though the calf opening says 16 inches, I could barely zip them up on my 16" calves (where I could on other boots of the same width).
