I just received my beautiful boots this morning and I could not be happier. I had wanted a pair of cowgirl boots to add to my wardrobe and had researched many brands online. Old Gringo boots seemed to be what I was looking for, so I finally settled on the Erin style in Chocolate. I am so glad I did. I just got done trying them on with jeans, a dress, and a skirt and they look amazing with all of them. The craftsmanship and quality of the boots is top-notch and the colors are gorgeous. My only complaint is the boot is slightly narrow, but I feel that once they are worn in a little bit they will be perfect. I had previously ordered a pair in a size 7 (which I normally wear) and they were too large. The heel slipped when I walked around. The 6 1/2 that I ordered after that was perfect! I would highly recommend these awesome boots to anyone!

    I did not purchase these from Amazon, but got them in Wyoming almost two years ago. I have many pairs of cowboy boots including Tony Lama, Justin, Nocona, and Lucchese to name a few - and Old Gringo are right up there with the rest of them with a "rad" flair. I purchased the cowboy boots in bone and almost every time I wear them I get compliments. Note that I bought them 1/2 size smaller than my shoe size so keep that in mind. I love these boots so much that I just bought another style by Old Gringo from Amazon and will post a review once I get them. Worth mentioning is that I wear my boots a lot and I am hard on them and these have held up well so far! I highly recommend them - and ladies, they look great with anything you wear!!

    I just received these boots and I was really worried about them because I used to teach step aerobics and have a 15 inch calf muscle. I was worried these would be too tight. I measure a size 7 and I ordered a size 7. These fit great! I read somewhere that you should put them on standing up and that worked great. They are very comfy. The toe is really pointy but that is perfect because the teal embroidery on the toe will show if you have on boot cut jeans. They look great on and yes the top is a bit snug but they went on with no trouble. They are absolutely GORGEOUS!!!!!

    These are my 2nd pair of OGs and they definitely don't disappoint. The chocolate Erin's have teal embroidery which is a gorgeous combination. Subtle contrast makes them incredibly versatile, I love that I can wear them with pretty much any color and dress them up or down. They fit true to size, I wear an 8 1/2 in OG boots (which is also my sneaker size) and they are comfortable right out of the box with a lightweight sock. After wearing for one day they conformed to my feet and didn't want to take them off! Look forward to adding more to my collection!

    I love love love this boots. They are very comfortable and easy to wear. I read the other reviews and ordered a size up and wish I hadn't though. Maybe a 1/2 size, but because the are real leather of nice quality they are going to stretch. Mine are already too big, but I didn't want to send them back because I wanted to wear them right away. One note though: if you have bigger calves - be wary. They are form fitting on the calves. I do not have large calves and the fit just right, but it would be hard to tuck a pair of pants into them.

    I purchased the Erin Chocolate 640-1 boots from Endless/Amazon and received them in three days. The box description says USED which only refers to the finish as USED because these boots are brand new and never been worn. The embroidered stitching is more of a bluish gray and blends nicely with green tones as well. I normally wear a size 7 and I purchased a size 7. The fit is amazing like they were custom made for my foot. The boots are BEAUTIFUL they go well with everything. Every time I wear them I find myself constantly looking at them. You can not go wrong with these boots. I have been researching Old Gringo boots for months and I am so glad I decided to take a chance with Amazon. I got a better price with Amazon for a beautiful pair of Authentic Old Gringo boots that are gorgeous. The picture just does not capture the beauty of these boots. The pointed snip toe goes well with any outfit.

Best riding boots ever!

boots review on FRYE Shirley Over The Knee Riding Leather I loved and wanted this boot regardless of the fact that i knew my calf size was larger then what the boot circumfrance stated. My calf is a 16 3.4.. but i knew that in a couple of days it would give and it did. When i first tried them on they wouldnt go pass my calf then after wearing them in the house they gave but then i realized i should have tried them with socks. I put the socks on and then in two days they stretched and fit my calf nicely. i always order a half size up, which was plenty of room to wear with socks and be comfy. I love this boot and thats why i took 4 days to decide if it was worth all the stretching and it was. Dont plan on buy another black boot for some years. One change I would make to these boots if I were the designer: I'd make them knee length. They are a little short for the style. I normally wear a 9.5WW. Even though these were only a W, I had plenty of room in the footbed. I've ordered about eight pairs of boots trying to find one to fit and wished I could have kept these, even as an extra pair, since they aren't going to go with everything. My beef with these boots is that even though the calf opening says 16 inches, I could barely zip them up on my 16" calves (where I could on other boots of the same width). I wouldn't recommend buying them unless your calves are 15.5 or under. The leather does not feel like the type to stretch. A huge plus: these are extremely comfortable.
