I'm hopelessly addicted to Old Gringo boots , and these are just gorgeous! This is my first pair of the Razz style, and I was concerned about them fitting my athletic calves. I bought them in my actual shoe size since this toe/style runs larger than other OG boots . They fit like a glove but were a tiny bit snug at the top of the calves, so I took them to my local boot store for a little stretching. As long as it's done gradually, the zippers won't be affected. These are much flatter in the arch area compared to the traditional OG cowboy style boots I usually wear (with either the zero or 4 long toe), but they are very comfortable and will not disappoint. The buttery soft leather and gorgeous embroidery are sure to make this my new favorite pair! Old Gringo boots are the best thing to happen to my wardrobe and always get compliments wherever I go. Well worth the money :)

    I've been wanting these boots for awhile now, finally broke down and ordered them. They arrived pretty fast, and when I opened the box, I was not disappointed. These are kick-ass! Great styling and detail, and because Dan Post makes quality boots, I know these will last me a life-time. Only problem I've had with them is that the top of the boot fits too snug for my liking. If you have large calves, you will want to take them to a boot store and have them "stretched" a little bit. These are my first ever "cow-girl" boots, and I couldn't be happier with these!!

    With this being my first ever pair of western boots and with ordering them online, I was so worried but they are gorgeous, I love them, they fit great. I got lots of compliments on them. I would definitely order another pair. I especially love the detail of the cross!! Comfortable too, I didn't think they would be this awesome!!! Now I want more.

    I ordered these boots from overseas not knowing if they were going to fit and/or look like they do on site. I was happily suprised that they fit and that they looked EXACTLY like they do on the site. They are gorgeous boots and I am so happy with them!

    This boots are very cool, the toe is a little too pointy. I kept them anyways one day ill be brave and wear with a skirt even though they make my feet look big

Best riding boots ever!

boots review on FRYE Shirley Over The Knee Riding Leather I loved and wanted this boot regardless of the fact that i knew my calf size was larger then what the boot circumfrance stated. My calf is a 16 3.4.. but i knew that in a couple of days it would give and it did. When i first tried them on they wouldnt go pass my calf then after wearing them in the house they gave but then i realized i should have tried them with socks. I put the socks on and then in two days they stretched and fit my calf nicely. i always order a half size up, which was plenty of room to wear with socks and be comfy. I love this boot and thats why i took 4 days to decide if it was worth all the stretching and it was. Dont plan on buy another black boot for some years. One change I would make to these boots if I were the designer: I'd make them knee length. They are a little short for the style. I normally wear a 9.5WW. Even though these were only a W, I had plenty of room in the footbed. I've ordered about eight pairs of boots trying to find one to fit and wished I could have kept these, even as an extra pair, since they aren't going to go with everything. My beef with these boots is that even though the calf opening says 16 inches, I could barely zip them up on my 16" calves (where I could on other boots of the same width).
