La Canadienne Womens Passion Leather

I bought these equestrian-styled boots in place of rubber or fabric boots for walking in snow, and they have been fantastic. The heel gives some style and traction, but is low enough to be very comfortable. The fleece/felt lining inside makes it warm enough for outside, but not so hot that you can't wear it inside. Since the leather is waterproof, it is less supple than average, but the leather itself seems high quality and I think it is a little stiff because it is waterproofed. Overall, it is a very comfortable boot, and it being waterproof makes it very useful!

I have thin calves, and can wear it with or without my jeans tucked in. The downside is that it will not fit someone with larger calves. The traction is average. Because the leather is on the stiff side, it wrinkles a little in the ankles, but it doesn't affect the overall style of the boot. I've gotten a lot of compliments, and my feet have stayed warm and dry.

    These boots are exactly what I expected them to be, and I caught a really good deal where I got them for 50% off! I am a size 9 and they fit true to size, brougt the brown which are really dark almost look like they are black, beautiful color and can't forget to mention you can wear the entire day and they will absolutely care for your feet - very comfortable...I absolutely love them! Another plus for this company is that they arrived free of shipping in just two days!!! I am able to give a good review since I've had them for about a month and a half.

    I prefer very simple shoes, and these boots are super classy. They have fleece lining so they are very warm. I normally wear a 7.5 but a 7 fit perfectly.

    La Canadienne knows boots. They are one of the best companies around. Not only do their boots fit well but they are warm., waterproof, and they look great. Form and function married perfectly together. They may seem pricey but it is one of the best investments you can make for owning a pair of quality boots. They also sell out fast so if you like a particular style you better scoop it up fast. I had to learn that lesson the hard way. Newer styles are now backordered until October and as I write it is July.

    These boots are awesome! Very comfortable and great for walking around the city. I saw these boots at Nordstrom and was able to get them for 50% off on Amazon. I would highly recommend these.

boots review on FRYE Shirley Over The Knee Riding Leather I loved and wanted this boot regardless of the fact that i knew my calf size was larger then what the boot circumfrance stated. My calf is a 16 3.4.. but i knew that in a couple of days it would give and it did. When i first tried them on they wouldnt go pass my calf then after wearing them in the house they gave but then i realized i should have tried them with socks. I put the socks on and then in two days they stretched and fit my calf nicely. i always order a half size up, which was plenty of room to wear with socks and be comfy. I love this boot and thats why i took 4 days to decide if it was worth all the stretching and it was. Dont plan on buy another black boot for some years. One change I would make to these boots if I were the designer: I'd make them knee length. They are a little short for the style. I normally wear a 9.5WW. Even though these were only a W, I had plenty of room in the footbed. I've ordered about eight pairs of boots trying to find one to fit and wished I could have kept these, even as an extra pair, since they aren't going to go with everything. My beef with these boots is that even though the calf opening says 16 inches, I could barely zip them up on my 16" calves (where I could on other boots of the same width).
